Health Risk
Rodents can cause damage and destruction to products by gnawing, devouring, and defecating on them. Rat bites and disease transfer to people are not rare. The largest risk, however, is food contamination, which can result in food-borne infections and human disease (e.g., Salmonella, Leptospirosis, Monkeypox, Plague).
ZAPS Treatment Program
- Conduct a thorough inspection of the entire facility to determine the rodent level of infestation and identify (potential) breeding sources.
Apply a suitable treatment program to eliminate rodent activity.
Continuous monitoring and treatment to eliminate rodent activity and for preventive measures.
